Vasili: Rama is blocking the questioning of key witnesses regarding the health concession affair

Vasili: Rama is blocking the questioning of key witnesses regarding the health

The MP of the Freedom Party and member of the Special Investigative Commission for concessions in health, Petrit Vasili, has accused the majority of blocking the investigative process.

During an interview for Syri TV, Vasili stated that the main witnesses are avoiding being questioned by the commission, using various excuses.

According to Vasili, the majority is deliberately preventing the summoning of the persons involved in the investigation, among whom, as he mentioned, Prime Minister Edi Rama and Vilma Nushi.

Vasili described this obstacle as an attempt to protect individuals related to the affairs of Public-Private Partnerships in health.

" They invented all kinds of excuses to avoid it. A minimal extension of the commission is needed to clarify the essential elements of this affair, the investigation is also affected by the attempt to avoid the witnesses in the commission. The majority has become a barricade so that key persons are not questioned.

Vilma Nushi does not appear to have given orders to Rama and his friends. There is a very strong will of the majority to obstruct the investigation. Rama is also a key witness like Nushi. He had a key role, he had information for over 100 million euros. After the case was opened, Rama advocated this affair persistently. It is minimally necessary for Rama to testify in the commission of inquiry, he has made an intensive lawyer, being fully within this concession.

The role of leaders and state institutions is decisive and determining in this affair. To make a contract, you need a feasibility study, you need to do shopping and this is guided by the state. Private-state symbiosis, the maximum responsibilities fall on state institutions and leaders ," said Vasili.
