The municipal councilors of the opposition, Dorian Teliti and Xhonatan Pano, have today made a public denunciation from the municipality of Tirana for the latest attempt to hide corrupt affairs by Erion Veliaj.

Specifically, a few days ago we heard from the mayor of Tirana that he contracted two companies, one British and the other German, to increase good governance procedures within the municipality and improve audit systems.

How were these two companies contracted? When was the procedure announced? When was interest announced by the institution itself? What are the funds made available to pay for these two contracts? What is the purpose of these two contracts?

If Erion Veliaj is going to make transparency and improve the transparency systems within the municipality of Tirana, let him start by making these two agreements transparent, two agreements that today, even the municipal elected officials, have no information about.
