"No money for Maluma's concert", Rama and Veliaj bluff. The organizer shows the amount paid by the municipality
While protesting in front of the Prime Minister's Office for the increase of prices, a few meters further the municipality of Tirana organized a concert of the world-famous singer, Maluma.
Faced with numerous comments on the paradoxical situation, Prime Minister Edi Rama denied that for the concert of the Latin singer, whom he called "Malumja" to create the impression that he did not know, no penny was paid from the state budget.
According to him, Maluma had come to Tirana through a private company.
" No money has been paid for Malume's concert from any public budget of either the government or the municipality because I asked what this Malume is. He brought a private company here and those who come out in protest talk about Malumen and they tell you that he brought Malumen, I did not even know who Malumja was " , said Rama.
Meanwhile, a day ago, the mayor Erion Veliaj, speaking to Rama, stated that the Municipality had made available only the square for the concert, and according to him, about 1,000 Euros were paid for a photo with the singer.
Bashkia e Tiranës sigurisht që do t’ia japë sheshin për koncert sepse s’mund t’i themi se meqë 200 vetë protestojnë, do ndalojmë çdo gjë tjetër.
"This was an activity in cooperation with the Municipality of Tirana. The Council of Culture has approved an aid fund for… 5 million ALL. "50 million old," she said, bluffing both the prime minister and the mayor.
