May 11/ The CEC Regulatory Commission decides on the specifics of ballots in

The Regulatory Commission meeting has concluded, where the specifications of the ballot for the May 11 elections were discussed.

In the end, only the characteristics for the sheets to be used domestically were agreed upon.

"The color and thickness of the sheet must be such that it is not possible to read the writing on the back. It contains identification codes that are not readable with the naked eye, such as the QR code."

The Regulatory Commission cannot comment exhaustively on the dimensions of the ballot paper, as they will have to be determined when the electoral subjects are registered. This size will be determined at a later stage.

"The paper will be a two-layer woven paper that has some carbon fibers that are visible to the naked eye. The density must be no less than 90 grams per square meter ," were some of the details that were agreed upon.

Meanwhile, what is new this year is the diaspora vote, for which the Commission did not make a decision.

A decision on this will be made at a later meeting, as the acronym "VJ" that was proposed as a distinctive sign was deemed not to be very clear.
