A serious accident occurred on the Berat-Dimal national axis, in the place called "Kthesa e Lapardha". A "Toyota" type vehicle left the road and collided with a high voltage pole.

The driver of the vehicle, Dhimitër Papa, was immediately transported by ambulance to the Berat Regional Hospital, where he is receiving treatment for the injuries sustained from the collision. According to doctors, his life is out of danger and he did not suffer serious injuries.

The cause of the accident is suspected to have been wetness on the road. Currently, traffic police officers are at the scene to fully clarify the dynamics of the event.

As a result of the collision, the area's power line connections were also damaged, causing a power outage.

OSHEE employees arrived at the scene and started repairing the damage to restore electricity to the area.
