5 people are arrested for cultivation of narcotic plants in Poliçan

The police arrested 5 people in the village of Plashnik in Poliçan, who were suspected of cultivating narcotic plants.

As part of the national mega-operation coded "Clean Territory", a total of 116 cannabis plants were seized, a part of which was in the process of drying.

The arrested have been identified as:

Angel Myftaraj, 54 years old
Gjolek Myftaraj, 61 years old (brothers)
Fatjon Myftaraj, 21 years old (son of Angel Myftaraj)
Vullnet Bendaj, 44 years old
Dorjan Bendaj, 39 years old (brothers)
According to the official announcement, during the control of the territory in the Tërpan administrative unit , in the village of Plashnik, 37 cannabis plants were discovered which were destroyed by burning. Meanwhile, in a shed near the residence of citizen Gjolek Myftaraj, 79 more cannabis plants were found, which were in the process of drying.

The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office, which is continuing the investigations for the criminal offenses of "Cultivation of narcotic plants" and "Production and sale of narcotics", carried out in cooperation.
