Albanian arrested in Italy, millions of euros from cocaine traffic
An Albanian has fallen into the hands of the Italian police after an anti-drug operation. The arrested person is Anton Likmeta, 35 years old. The latter results in a criminal record.
Together with his Romanian partner, Likmeta for some time managed a flourishing cocaine traffic that affected all of Triveneto, with a turnover estimated to be around hundreds of thousands of euros, local media write.
The money obtained from the illegal activity was first deposited in Romanian banks and then returned to Italy, where it was invested in businesses.
During the search of Likmeta's apartment, about 670 grams of cocaine, 15 grams of hashish and 43,200 euros were found.
