The residents of Bëxulla, who are affected by the project for the construction of the Thumanë-Kashar axis, have come out again in protest. The situation escalated, where citizens clashed with police officers. The latter tried to remove the residents from the road, after blocking the Rinas-Kashar axis.
"They will forget that they can enter our properties, they will only have the fate of the Shkodra castle, it will be built during the day and destroyed at night. They take our homes only with blood. We have been asking for dialogue for 4 months and they have not negotiated with us" , said a resident.
"The road divides the plots transversely and there is no project on how the land on the other side of the road will be accessible because there is no publication if there will be overpasses or something similar. Our demands are non-negotiable on these points.
The village is in danger of disappearing entirely, it will be divided into three parts. In protest, we will gather peacefully to sensitize the authorities. The works of the parliament are blocked for an FBI agent, we are not allowed to work. Parliament is to solve our affairs, not America's," said another resident.
This is not the first time that the residents of Bëxulla rise in protest. They do not agree with the value of expropriation, because according to them, it does not coincide with that of the market.
