Businesses in "crisis" for workforce, Italian business: The government should invest in the training of young people

Businesses in "crisis" for workforce, Italian business: The government

The president of the Italian Confindustria in Albania, Sergio Fontana, has appealed to the government to undertake practices in the education and training of young people to develop their careers in Albania.

According to Fontana, the government should support companies with fiscal incentives so that young people stay in Albania and do not leave.

"The Albanian government should do more on the issue of education and training of Albanian youth as Albania offers many opportunities for young Albanians to develop their careers in Albania. So the cooperation between the companies and the Albanian government should be in order to make it possible for young people to stay and not leave the country. The government can support companies with fiscal facilities so that young people stay here" , Fontana emphasized.

The call of the head of the Italian Confederation comes at a time when the country is facing an increase in young people leaving for EU countries and Great Britain. Businesses are suffering from labor shortages.

The government recently approved the increase of the minimum wage from ALL 34 thousand to ALL 40 thousand.
