A case of dysentery in a child in the city of Laç has raised concerns among health institutions and the Kurbin Municipality.

The child, who had been showing a fever for several days, was taken to the QSUT, where after tests, he was confirmed to be affected by this infectious disease.

Immediately after the announcement, the authorities intervened by starting the disinfection of the premises of kindergarten no. 1. The Institute of Public Health has taken samples for analysis and has launched investigations to identify the source of the infection.
