The Special Court has sentenced Aleksandër Laho, also known as "Rrumi i Shijakut", to 10 months in prison. Laho was convicted of the criminal offense of corruption.
SPAK requested a sentence of 3 years in prison, but in the end the court sentenced him to 1 year and 3 months in prison, but due to the summary trial, one third of this sentence was reduced.
According to the investigation, it turned out that Aleksandër Laho gave the State Attorney's official, Irgen Kërçuku, the amount of 600 thousand lekë and promised him 300 thousand lekë more, in order to avoid filing a complaint regarding a property issue.
