The pediatrician at Gramsh Hospital who followed the case of kindergarten children poisoned by food contaminated with salmonella spoke about the health of the patients.

The first case, according to the doctor, was reported on the 20th, and was in serious condition. On the other hand, the doctor announced that 79 samples were taken, of which 17 cases tested positive.

"The first case that arrived was on the 20th, with fever, vomiting, high fever. The case was admitted to pediatrics. We admitted him on the second day because we were worried, because he had bloody diarrhea.

We have had three other cases that presented to the hospital, while ten cases presented to the emergency room, and all of them tested positive.

 The general condition of the children was not good at first. The cases were reported to the local unit of our city and we continued treatment.

"For two days, maximum three days, the children calmed down," said Bajrame Çarçiu, a pediatrician in Gramsh, to Report TV.
