At noon this Wednesday, police forces arrested 31-year-old Amarildo Ndreca (also known as Amarildo Kola) in Laç, who was wanted for attempted murder. Ndreca, in collaboration with two other people, had tried to kill the citizen Agron Puka on March 6 of this year, in front of a school in the village of Rrilë in Lezha.

The coded police operation "Double Trouble" was carried out within the mega-operation "Rule of Law", which monitors the situation on the ground 24/7. After receiving information about Ndreca's location, operational forces intervened in a bar in Laç, where they arrested him.

During the arrest, Ndreca was caught with a pistol and combat ammunition, while suspected remains of the narcotic substance cocaine were found in the bar.

The court of Lezha had set the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offenses of "Premeditated murder" remaining in the attempt, carried out in cooperation, and "Unauthorized possession of weapons and ammunition".

During the operation, six people who accompanied the arrested person, who were accused of the criminal offenses "Production and sale of narcotics" and "Supporting the perpetrator of the crime", were also released. The procedural materials have been referred to the Lezha Prosecutor's Office for further investigation.
