The Albanian national team has today finished preparations for the first match of the European 2024 qualifiers against Poland, which will be played on Monday evening in Warsaw. The red and black delegation traveled to the Polish land this morning, arriving at noon to be immediately accommodated in the hotel. After a break, the team went to the PGE Naradoëy match stadium and first the coach Sylvio Mendes Campos Junior appeared at the official press conference together with the striker Sokol Cikalleshi and then the team went down to the field.
The Communication Department of the AFL informs that all 23 players gathered have traveled with the team and trained normally in a session without many loads and more focused on exercises with the ball and improvisations of different game situations.
Thoams Strakosha, Myrto Uzuni and Armir Abrashi, who has overcome the flu and is also ready to play in this edition's premiere, have been training regularly. The technical staff has been constantly working on the details to prepare the team for every situation.
The whole group appeared charged, satisfying the expectations of the technical staff in terms of grit and the desire to give the maximum in this very important match for the objectives of the National Team.
Also, a significant number of Albanian fans will be present at the Warsaw stadium to support the red and blacks in this new journey.
