Lewandowski quits Poland national team after clash with coach

Tense situation in the Polish national team. Striker Robert Lewandowski recently announced that he will no longer play for his country's national team as long as Poland coach Michal Probierz is in charge.

The rift between the Barcelona striker and the coach has occurred in recent hours, and his stance came with a direct message published on his "X" profile: 

"Given the circumstances and the loss of confidence in the coach of the Polish national team, I have decided to stop playing for Poland until he becomes the coach. I hope to be able to play again for the best fans in the world," Lewandowski wrote.

It seems that the coach's decision to strip Lewandowski of the captaincy and "promote" midfielder Zielinski has brought about a major rift.
