American tourist stranded on Aquarium beach, rescued by police in a raft - taken to hospital out of danger

An American tourist has been stranded in a rocky area near the Aquarium beach in Himara, after sustaining leg injuries while exploring the terrain. The incident occurred yesterday and was announced today by official sources.

After receiving the notification from the Operations Room, the services of the Himara Police Commissariat, in cooperation with the Dhërmi Border Police, organized a rescue operation. The tourist was located and removed from the area where he was trapped, being transported by a raft to a safe area.

He was then taken to Himara Hospital, where his life is out of danger. According to the police, the American citizen thanked the officers for their quick response and professionalism.

The State Police underlines its commitment to guaranteeing the safety of citizens and tourists, as well as providing assistance in any emergency situation.
