Pyrotechnics near the Polytechnic University, police seize materials and launch

A quantity of pyrotechnic materials has been discovered by the Police services on the perimeter wall of the Polytechnic University of Tirana. The event was recorded on June 7, while the materials have been seized as material evidence.


According to the official announcement, the police are working to identify the person or persons responsible for placing pyrotechnics in this public area.


"On 07.06.2025, on the perimeter wall of the Polytechnic University, the Police services found a quantity of pyrotechnic material. The items were seized as material evidence," the authorities said in a statement.


The investigation team is reviewing security footage to identify the owner and clarify the circumstances of this incident. Police are continuing their investigations with a view to arresting the person responsible.
