The Albanian Development Fund has signed a contract with the company "Fusha" for the construction of the "Eden Park" installation that will be built inside the Prime Minister's Office.

"Fusha" was declared the winner of the tender for the installation, which will be built with a fund of 398 million ALL or about 3.6 million euros.

Referring to the documents of the procedure, the project that is proposed to be applied is located in the inner courtyard of the prime minister's office, near the "Kombit Martyrs Boulevard". According to the project, it is about a 3D garden which can be used for events, shows, but also for free time.

"General description of the project: The design of the project is detailed on the basis of the concept, formulated by the international design studio 'Studio Precht', with the central offices in Austria. The concept of 'Eden' is a response to the situation that is created in the yard. Instead of placing a garden on the ground, a 3-dimensional garden is created that provides recreation, vitality and leisure functions at different levels. Eden is a sustainable and vibrant solution for a place-making courtyard, an open and permeable structure for private leisure and public events, a spectacle made by one, and a reminder of the long-lost nature in the surroundings our built.

The stairs include seating elements that are movable on demand, flexible and properly placed in different cases.

The tribune with seats provides a platform for events during the day (official conferences) and in the evening (lectures, concerts, speeches), while the plants in the structure envelop the audience with a natural deck.

Eden stands on a 4800x4800x4800mm grid. Cross-interlocking wooden beams form a 6x3x4 cubic modular frame, which serves as the structure. "Prefabricated timber construction will guarantee accurate implementation, quick assembly on site and emits low carbon values compared to traditional construction materials such as concrete and steel," the document states.

The project for the construction of the installation at the Prime Minister's Office was announced at a time when the country was facing a price crisis, and the government was discussing the establishment of an 800 kilowatt-hour energy band for households. At a time when there were many reactions, the government decided to temporarily suspend it.
