A foreign tourist lost his life today in the Langarica canyon in Permet.

Sources from the scene confirm that the foreign citizen, whose name is still unknown, was a tourist who had gone to explore the canyon in question.

It is known that the loss of life came as a result of drowning in the course of Langarica due to the heavy rainfall after the Langarica river burst its banks.

In the place called Mulliri i Bênjes, the police discovered the dead foreign tourist who was transported to the mortuary of the city hospital.

The police are at the scene and are working to rescue other tourists in that area. The forces of the fire service of the Municipality of Permet went to the scene of the incident.
