Mitsotakis reveals whether he will support Albania in the EU membership process

The Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, in an interview for Ant1, has stated that he will run again in 2027 to be the head of the government again.

During the interview, in addition to the issues of his country, Mistostakis was also asked about Fredi Beleri and Albania-Greece relations.

In the case of Fredi Beler, he said that relations with Albania have experienced turmoil and that Beler is an elected MEP and that he represents minority rights in the EU.

Among other things, he said that "Greece has every reason to support Albania in the EU membership process".

Regarding the issue of the Prespa Agreement, Kyriakos Mitsotakis said that "we are moving in the right direction", while at another point he emphasized that North Macedonia will understand that it is not in its interest to stay on issues that change the agreement.
