The Court of Appeal has remanded in prison a Turkish citizen accused of practicing prostitution in Albania. Details of the investigative file shed light on the network and how she operated in the capital.

According to the prosecution's documents, the girl had come to Tirana with the intention of engaging in illegal activity, following a proposal she had received from a friend of hers. "She told me why don't you go there to work as an escort, because there is a lot of money, the clients pay a lot. She told me that a Turkish friend of mine will meet you there," the young woman confessed in her testimony.

As soon as she arrived in Tirana, she was met by an Albanian taxi driver who was aware of the purpose of her arrival and who helped her find an apartment and other needs.

Investigations show that she worked through a WhatsApp group called "Isil", which included three people: herself, a girl with the nickname "Cansu" who served as an operator, and a Turkish man identified as "Hakan", who managed the work and secured clients.

Payments for sexual services ranged from 150 to 200 euros for 30 minutes and were made in advance. The profit was split equally between the girl and Hakan, while the rent for the apartment where they stayed was also paid jointly.

For each amount collected, the girl would notify the manager who would then send someone to withdraw the money. In intercepted communications during the month of Ramadan, she expressed dissatisfaction due to the drop in demand and lack of customers.

Authorities are continuing their investigations to identify other accomplices involved in this organized prostitution network.
