The father of the former Minister of the Interior, Saimir Tahiri, has passed away. The former minister has shared on social networks a photo of his father and a letter written from the cell where Tahiri is serving his sentence.
In the written letter, Tahiri expresses his pain for the separation from his father's life, as he recalls the love between father and son. Tahiri expresses his gratitude to his father for the most precious gift he gave him.
"Oh Ba, how come you didn't wait for me? How the hell did you take this last road in such a hurry? May your soul shine up there!
You gave me the greatest gift ever, you made me a man. And stay calm there, don't worry anymore. Laugh and be happy as you do here with us.
How many times did I get ready if I couldn't say it because it was hard for me, but I'm saying it now that you don't hear me anymore:
I love you so much Ba! We all love you very much, my friend Bashkim. Forever!", writes Tahiri.
We remind you that the former minister was sentenced to 3 years and 4 months in prison for the criminal act of "abuse of duty". Tahiri is currently serving his sentence in prison "313" in Tirana.
