A vehicle catches fire on the Tirana-Durrës highway, the driver escapes

This morning on the Tirana-Durrës highway, a vehicle was engulfed in flames. Other cars using this road have diverted the lane near the parked vehicle to avoid any possible incident.

The police informs that as a result of the flames there is only material damage.

On 04.06.2023, on the Tirana-Durrës highway, a vehicle caught fire while driving and the vehicle driven by a citizen AD, and as a result of the fire there was only material damage.

From preliminary actions, it is suspected that the fire occurred as a result of a defect in the vehicle. The investigative team is working to determine the cause of the fire.
