Olsi Ibro, 46 ​​years old, one of the accused in the microcredit scandal, has ended his life this morning in Tirana.

According to the police, Ibro committed suicide by jumping from a building under construction on 'Ramazan Shijaku' street near the train station in Tirana. 

On 20.07.2024, on the street "Ramazan Shijaku", it is suspected that he committed suicide from the height of a building under construction, citizen OI, 45 years old, who as a result of the injuries received, died at the scene. The investigative group is working to clarify the circumstances of the event.'- the police announced.

The suicide happened a day after the seizure of the two companies Micro Credit Albania and "Final", which severely abused the borrowers. 

Olsi Ibro was the head of the ADCA law firm, which was also part of the fraud scheme, and the delivery of the properties of borrower citizens to private executors.
