Meanwhile, 2,264 drivers were criminally prosecuted and fined for various violations of the traffic code.

As a result of intensive monitoring during the last 72 hours, 267 driving licenses have been suspended, of which 221 for speeding above the permitted rates on the main national roads and in urban centers, 34 for driving under the influence of alcohol or in a drunken state. and 12 for traffic in the opposite direction. 21 drivers were arrested in the act, of which 12 for driving while intoxicated and 9 for driving without a driving license. Also, using smart devices, 2,264 drivers who were speeding in residential areas were identified and punished with administrative measures, without the sanction of driving license suspension., informs the police.

The Blues also announce that 167 motor vehicle drivers have been punished for not wearing protective helmets and warning signs at night.
