Civic Attitude in protest: Rector Artan Hoxha should resign, he was caught

"The rector of the University of Tirana, Artan Hoxha, should be banned from running for another term and should resign from this post as he was caught plagiarizing in his doctoral thesis." This is the demand of the protest of the Civic Center held in front of the Rectorate of the University of Tirana. They have asked the Ministry of Education and the Council of Ethics to intervene. 

The "Civic Attitude" movement has held a protest in front of the Rectorate of the University of Tirana regarding the situation in this university. They have demanded the resignation of the rector of the University of Tirana, Artan Hoxha, as according to them, he was caught plagiarizing in the works for his doctorate.

According to the Civic Attitude, the lack of reaction from the ethics council of the university but also from the Ministry of Education is scandalous. As a few days separate us from the university elections, rector Artan Hoxha is again running for another term, but according to the Civic Center he should be banned from running.  

Participant in this protest was the lecturer of the Agricultural University of Kamza, Lush Susaj, who spoke about the university elections and the lack of candidacies. According to him, a lot of pressure was exerted on the teachers to stop running. 

According to the Civic Center, there are several candidates for dean at the University of Tirana who have been caught with plagiarism and should be intervened to stop their candidacy.
