Long lines of vehicles were seen at the Kapshtica border crossing this Monday, as Albanian migrants were returning to Greece after the Easter celebrations in Albania. The high flow has created waits of several hours to cross the border.

Currently, three counters are operating at the exit from Albanian territory, while the Albanian side has the capacity to open up to six such counters.

However, the situation continues to be conditioned by the Greek side, where high flows have been reported both inbound and outbound, and additional counters have not been opened.
