The chef raises the alarm: Restaurants opened to launder money are disrupting

The well-known chef, Fundim Giepali, has raised the alarm that restaurants opened to launder money are disrupting the market in Albania.

"The massive opening of bars, the unfair competition, has created a lot of confusion with the clientele," said the chef, Fundim Gjepali, on A2 CNN.

"Locals that launder money, locales don't know, make ill-considered investments, without a business plan, that buy very expensive products that they sell cheaper than us who pay everything ," he adds.

According to him, the flow of tourists should be managed carefully, without neglecting the Albanian consumer. " Each of us must create an identity. Because the tourists who come will also leave. While the people who live there for me are the most important clientele that come and go", said Gjepali.
