A day after the serious event in Lushnje, where as a result of the explosion in a business two people lost their lives and 7 others were injured, the state technical and industrial inspectorate, the anti-explosive unit, the Fier prosecutor's office, the Lushnje police arrived at the scene and OSHEE engineers.
The explosion occurred when the crane was transporting oxygen cylinders. The investigative team is examining the scene, as an unexploded oxygen cylinder is still there.
The crane in which the two victims, father and son, Roland and Elidon Hoxha, collided with the high voltage pole, causing the explosion. Seven others were injured, among them the socialist MP Bujar Çela. The latter underwent surgery twice due to the wounds received in the abdomen.
The injured were sent to the trauma hospital in Tirana.
