Kosovo-Serb dialogue/Kurti: Vučić rejected my offer for Serb self-management

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has revealed new details from the meeting in Ohrid with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic. Kurti said that the Serbian president rejected his offer for "self-management" of the Kosovo Serbs after refusing to sign the February 27 Agreement in Brussels and before rejecting the proposed Annex in Ohrid.

Through a post on Twitter, Kurti jokingly posed the question of whether Vucic is a "Doctor No or Mr. No" (from the Russian Nyet, )?, as he emphasized that at least he knows that he is not a doctor.

" After refusing to sign the February 27 Agreement, and before refusing again to sign the March 18 Annex, the president of Serbia rejected my generous offer of self-management for Kosovo Serbs in an association that I would design and propose. Is he Dr. No or Mr. Node? We know that he is not a doctor ", wrote Kurti.

On Saturday, the head of foreign policy of the European Union, Josep Borrell, said that the leaders of Kosovo and Serbia agreed on the implementation of the Agreement towards the normalization of relations between them, supported by the EU.

Addressing the journalists, he said that this is an "important achievement". " What the parties agreed to is that the Agreement and its implementation through the Annex become an integral part of their respective paths towards the European Union," said Borrell.

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, said that the reconciliation reached in Ohrid is "de facto mutual recognition" of Kosovo and Serbia. The President of Serbia, Vucic, said that the formation of the Association "has become a priority obligation".
