Two medals in judo, Kosovo successfully closes the Paris 2024 Olympic Games

The Kosovo Olympic team has closed the Paris 2024 competitions today. 

The balance of these Olympic Games was positive for Kosovo, with one silver and one bronze medal.

It was initially Distria Krasniqi, who continues to elevate the state of Kosovo, securing the first medal in Paris 2024, the second for her, this time silver, after the gold in Tokyo 2020.

Laura Fazliu also had a dignified appearance, who has scored a great success, having managed to win the bronze medal at the 'Paris 2024' Olympic Games.

Judoka Akil Gjakova also had a very good performance, who came very close to the medal this time, after reaching the semi-finals.

Boxer Donjeta Sadiku started well after passing the first hurdle in 'Paris 2024', defeating boxer from Thailand, Thananya Somunek in the category up to 60 kilograms, but in the second match, Sadiku was defeated by Colombian Pana Valdes with 3 points -2, ending the journey to the Olympic Games.

Swimmer Adell Sabovic failed to qualify for the second round even though he finished second in his heat. Sabovic competed in the 100m freestyle at the Paris 2024 Olympics, finishing second in his heat with a time of 51.77 seconds.
