Kurti: I haven't changed my stance on "Open Balkan", an initiative without a platform
The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has expressed that he shares the same position regarding the "Open Balkans" initiative.
Reporteri.net reports that in a television interview, Kurti stated that he does not support the initiative, as it has neither a platform nor a strategy.
"I have no other position. The Open Balkans, as far as I know, does not even have a website. So, it is an initiative that has neither a platform nor a basic contract, it has neither a strategy nor an action plan" , said Kurti.
The Prime Minister said that the initiative was not built on the basis of EU rules.
"It is not according to the rules of the European Union, it does not have the financing of the European Union and I cannot support such an initiative" , he emphasized.
Albania, Serbia and Macedonia are part of the Open Balkans, while Kosovo, Montenegro and Bosnia refuse to be part of this initiative.
