After two failures, the ninth legislature of the Kosovo Assembly was constituted this Saturday. The prepared report was passed to the Assembly, where the new deputies, who emerged from the parliamentary elections on February 9, were sworn in.

The report on the verification of the mandates of the deputies of the Assembly of Kosovo was passed with 119 votes in favor.

MPs from the Vetëvendosje Movement have confirmed that the report on the verification of the mandate of MPs has been submitted to the committee.

Ilir Kërçeli, from LVV, said that political entities changed their stance after the elections were mentioned.

"It seems that the mention of the elections has had an impact," he said.

Meanwhile, MP Dimal Basha said that the opposition parties had a false cause.

PDK Chairman Memli Krasniqi has declared that the situation has changed and the opportunity has been created to vote on the report for verification of the mandate of MPs.

Krasniqi said that their request was accepted, and that the ministers, along with Albin Kurti, have resigned from their positions.

"The PDK's request and recommendation has been accepted. All ministers and Kurti have resigned individually. There is a change in the situation, and we have the opportunity to vote on the mandate report," said Krasniqi.

The first constitutive session was held on April 15, but did not end successfully due to disagreements regarding the report of the Commission for the Verification of Mandates. The second session, held on April 17, similarly failed, further delaying the procedures for starting the work of the new Assembly.
