Dear Madam President

On behalf of the people of the United States, please accept my warmest congratulations to you and the people of Kosovo on the occasion of Independence Day. Kosovo's path as a sovereign nation has been marked by resilience and determination.

The United States fully supports Kosovo and its commitment to building a democratic society where all citizens can live and thrive together. The ties between our peoples are strong, and we look forward to expanding them, including by increasing investment opportunities, to bring greater prosperity to both our nations. The United States will continue to work with Kosovo as it strengthens democratic institutions and promotes economic growth through a stable and fair business environment.

The United States looks forward to building a more productive relationship with the government of Kosovo over the coming year. As we work with Kosovo and its neighbors to build a more prosperous and secure region, it is important that Kosovo further integrates into the Euro-Atlantic community.
