Osmani meets NATO Supreme Commander: I reaffirmed Kosovo's commitment to

The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, held a meeting with General Christopher Cavoli, Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) at NATO on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

The president's announcement on Facebook states that during the meeting they discussed NATO's irreplaceable role in Kosovo over the last 23 years in protecting security and stability.

"At this defining time for the European continent, I reaffirmed the commitment of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo to close cooperation with the alliance, actively contributing to the security of the region and beyond ," Osmani wrote. 

Osmani met with the delegation of American congressmen today.

"The support of the American Congress has played a key role in writing the history of a free, independent, and sovereign Kosovo. This support continues today, as we work together to address common challenges and open new chapters of cooperation that further deepen and strengthen our historic alliance ," the president wrote.

President Osmani wrote that cooperation with Germany remains one of the main priorities, and the CDU as a party has contributed over the years to cultivating our bilateral relations.
