Judoka Distria Krasniqi wins bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Paris

Judoka Distria Krasniqi has won the bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Paris. 

The first challenge was against Frenchwoman Alyssia Poulange in the 52 kilogram category.

The Kosovar judoka continued with confident steps to secure her fourth gold medal in her career.

In the quarterfinals, she managed to defeat Spanish judoka Ayumi Leiva Sanchez.

But, Krasniqi suffered a defeat in the semifinals of the Paris Grand Slam, being defeated by the Japanese Kisumi Omori, who defeated her with 'Ippon'.

However, in the duel with Khorloodoi Bishrelt, Distria was fantastic, winning Kosovo the bronze medal.

Nora Gjakova (bronze) and Akil Gjakova, who won the silver medal but is aiming for gold, will also fight for medals shortly.
