The well-known director Gëzim Kame was invited today to the "Dola te Ola" program, where he also talked about his professional life. One of the shows most loved by the public is undoubtedly "Rain on the beach", and during the conversation in the studio the director between emotions recalled moments from the realization of this comedy.

Kame also confessed the relationship he has had with various actors of Albanian cinematography, such as Timo Flloko, Ndriçim Xhepa, Robert Ndrenika, with whom he said he has made about 12-13 works. "I had Robert as my right hand. He is an extraordinary figure, hardworking to the point of greatness, a very good adviser".

The director emphasized that the bad luck of many of the actors of that time is that the borders of our country were closed, since many of them would definitely be Hollywood actors.

The director also stopped at the late actor Sulejman Pitarka, "He deserves to be called a giant, an icon of Albanian dramatic art." He confessed that Pitarka hadn't played theater for 20 years and hadn't left the house for 5 years, when the director went to show him a work he wanted to stage. Pitarka, who was in his 80s, initially told him that it would take him almost two weeks to read it as he had only 20% of his sight, but that same day at 8:00 p.m. he called him and said that he had finished reading. "I read it, I really liked it. That is my role." It is about the work "Wooden plate", which had an extraordinary success.

Kame said that he has not seen anyone other than the great Pitarka who at that age works with that seriousness and with that crystal mind. "Pitarka was renewed, he forgot his age", said Kame, as he also gave a very beautiful message. "This best shows that work keeps people alive."
