Mark Wahlberg and his family haven't looked back since swapping Hollywood for Las Vegas. The actor revealed in October 2022 that he packed up his things and moved the family out of their $90 million mansion in California in a bid for a better life. Six months after the move, the "Father Stu" actor admitted that the move to Las Vegas has been a positive change in his children's lives. "They love Vegas," the 51-year-old star told E!News.

"I've spent a lot of time in LA pursuing my interests and my career and now it's time for them to pursue theirs. Everyone is thriving. It's been great."

Wahlberg has four children with his wife of 13 years, Rhea Durham. The move also came with its long list of perks, including a short commute to the best shows in town.

"I've seen a lot of shows and been to a lot of great restaurants. There's so much to do in Vegas and it's so exciting."

"I want to be able to work from home. I moved to California many years ago to pursue acting and I've only done a few movies the whole time I've been there. So to be able to give the kids a better life and follow their dreams, whether it's my daughter as a rider, my son as a basketball player, my little son as a golfer, it meant a lot to us. We came here to give ourselves a new look, a fresh start for the kids and there's a lot of opportunity here. I'm very excited about the future."
