Renowned director "Woody Allen" will no longer make films. That's after he faced a backlash in Hollywood over a charge of sexual assault by his adopted daughter. Allen has said he will shoot a new film in Paris this fall and that it could be his last.

Woody Allen, 86, spoke in a rare interview with actor Alec Baldwin about his career and his new book, Zero Gravity, a comic book essay. He gave no details about his next film, which would be his 50th. The four-time Oscar-winning director of "Annie Hall" and other comedies has repeatedly denied allegations that he molested his adopted daughter, Dylan Farrow, in 1992. Many Hollywood celebrities and executives distanced themselves from Allen after the move #MeToo became global in 2017.

Baldwin, who has appeared in three of Allen's films, did not raise the topic during the interview, which was broadcast live on Baldwin's Instagram page. The actor later wrote on Instagram that he had "Zero interest in nobody's trials and posts" about his planned interview.

Baldwin's latest film, Rust, ended in tragedy when a gun he was carrying fired directly at filmmaker Halyna Hutchins.
