The secret behind Catherine Zeta-Jones' 20-year marriage to Michael Douglas

The famous actress Catherine Zeta-Jones has recently spoken in an interview for 'The Telegraph' about her 22-year marriage with Michael Douglas.

"It's impossible not to have ups and downs if you live with the same person and wake up with them every day. I've been with Mike for almost 25 years. I love being married, but it's crazy when you think about it really. Will you marry me? Of course! But then you think about that Chanel bag you spent a fortune on and I actually don't like it anymore, I'm going to put it up for resale."

Zeta-Jones and Douglas first met in France in 1998 after being introduced by Danny DeVito. After tying the knot in November 2000, the couple were rumored to be in crisis including a brief split in 2013 but managed to find their way back to each other. Meanwhile, their 25-year age difference has been a much talked about issue. Zeta-Jones made it clear in her interview that age is just a number.

"We walk around a golf course together for four hours. We also have a lot in common. We were born on the same day, 25 years apart. We are very good with each other, we respect each other and I never feel that he's 25 years older than me. I remember people saying, 'When you're 50, he'll be 75.' Well, that's just math. I know I thank my lucky stars every day that I picked the right guy. He's a great husband, a great father, a great actor. But to us, he's just Michael."
