Berisha congratulates Talat Xhaferi: a historic act and achievement of North

Chief Democrat Sali Berisha congratulated the elected Prime Minister, Talat Xhaferi.

In a post on Facebook, Berisha writes that Xhaferi is elected as the first Albanian prime minister in North Macedonia. Berisha described it as a historic act and an achievement of the neighboring country.

"A historic day for North Macedonia.

Friends, today Talat Xhaferi, former Minister of Defense and former Speaker of the Parliament is voted in a historic act as the first Albanian Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia. This is a real achievement not only of the Albanians, but also of all the citizens of the neighboring country. On this occasion, on behalf of the Democratic Party, I wish Prime Minister Xhaferi success in his important mission" , writes Berisha.
