The General Secretary of the Freedom Party, Tedi Blushi, spoke at a press conference after the incident that happened yesterday at the Tirana Municipal Council meeting.

Blushi stated that the whole event was staged, as according to him Veliaj appeared at the session wearing a bulletproof vest.

He stated that he stayed at the police station for 5 hours because the mayor did not send the footage of the violence.

"Yesterday's event was planned, it was planned to have bloodshed according to police sources. In the hearing, Veliaj was wearing bulletproof vests and there were armed persons and civilians in the hall, that was the reason I asked for the floor.
