Protests in Thumanë/ Elda Hoti: PD, on the side of the residents, do not give up

The Democratic Party has again supported the residents of the Thumana area, who have risen in protest against the new highway, which completely isolates them.

The DP deputy, Elda Hoti, said that the DP is on the side of the residents.

She called on them not to give up until the road opens and their lives return to normal.

Dear citizens!

The dissent of the residents of Mamurras, Thumana, Fushë Kruja and the surrounding villages, with the blocking of their access to the national road, was met yesterday with the fury of the narco police and their bosses high up in the government.

 

The director of Narco Police, Altin Qato, hit a citizen just for blowing his horn in support of the protest of the residents of the area. Meanwhile, the presence of the Police was disproportionate, both with the motive of the gathering and with the number of protesters.

 

The Democratic Party calls on ordinary policemen unmixed with the crime of their bosses, clearly demonstrated in some foreign service files, not to blindly follow the orders they put against their fellow villagers and fellow citizens.

 

The General Director of the Narco Police and his political boss at the head of the narco-state, we know well the reasons for the rage and, for the behavior in Thumana and everywhere else, whenever there are protests, they will respond sooner or later.

 

The Democratic Party calls on the residents not to give up until the road is opened and their lives return to normal. You will have our support today in opposition. Tomorrow in government we will give you the access you deserve to the national roads that were built with your taxes.

 

We call on all citizens, regardless of beliefs and origin, to join their compatriots who are being abused and despised. The doors of their homes and businesses have been closed to them, and they have to go all the way to Rinas to go back to their daily jobs.

 

A great injustice is done to them which must be corrected. If the government does not do it willingly, it will do it by force.

 

We are by the side of the residents, until they have access to the national road.

 

We are against the government whenever it takes revenge on the citizens.

 

We will lead a government that builds roads for Albanians, as it did in the period 2005-2013 with 11 thousand km of roads, not for the oligarchs.

 

Do not stop the resistance, it is the next road in front of which the narco-government makes way!
