Rama left out of the safe list on April 25, the three 'sacrificed'

In the SP lists of the April 25 elections, well-known socialist names stood out that Prime Minister Edi Rama listed in the 'red zone', however, some of the names managed to regain the mandate of deputy.

So far, although they were not listed in a safe place by Rama, the mandate has been taken by Fatmir Xhafaj, Mimi Kodheli and Pandeli Majko.

Recall that Majko was ranked 19th, Kodheli 21st and Fatmir Xhafaj 23rd, while for the first time, the list of candidates was partially open, which allowed non-winning MPs if they received a large number of votes to cross the threshold.

The first who managed to break the quotient was Fatmir Xhafaj who gathered in the whole district full of 16738.

After the election, Dr. Najada Como, one of the main figures of the SP campaign, due to the weight she held during the pandemic, left the mandate, preferring to work in the hospital.

Her place was taken by another SP "veteran", the former Minister of Defense, Mimi Kodheli, who was also ranked below the winning list.
While the third case seems to be the one with Pandeli Majko. He was ranked only one place below the winning list, which made him miss this year in Parliament.

But with the resignation of Alqi Blako, Majko returns to his seat in the Assembly for the next three years.
