Ivanka Trump, the daughter of the former US president, Donald Trump, gave details about the luxury investment in Sazan, in the South of Albania.

Speaking on Lex Friedman's podcast, Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner, the real estate developer, said they are embarking on an ambitious project to open a luxury hotel in Albania. 

"Right now I'm working with my husband. We have this island of 1,400 hectares in the Mediterranean and we are bringing the best architects and the best brands ," she said, foreign media reported.

The mountain resort will be managed by Vlad Dronin's prestigious Aman brand and will feature the renowned Carbone restaurant. It is part of the Major Food Group, which is known for its celebrity clientele. This group has only 7 exclusive restaurants worldwide from America to Hong Kong.

" Aman will operate the hotel for us, and they will be villas, and we have Carbone doing the food and beverage ," Trump said. 

"We're trying to honor the topography that's there, " she added. 

"Of course you want glass and you want to look at that beautiful blue ocean, but how do you do it in a way that doesn't look generic and isn't a missed opportunity to create something new ," Trump points out.

The "Aman" brand, which boasts over 30 investments in 20 countries, is frequented by celebrities such as Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, the Kardashians, Angelina Jolie, David Beckham, George and Amal Clooney, Tom Hanks, etc. Rooms at Aman resorts typically cost around $1,400 per night, with villas priced at $50,000.
