Berisha: Vote buying was not hidden, criminal gangs operated organized in 10

DP leader Sali Berisha has issued strong accusations against the Rama government regarding the recent elections, stating that vote buying was open and criminally organized throughout the country.

" A cannabis plant brings traffickers 1,000 euros. This was a pure instrument for vote buying. Rama did not hide it, on the contrary, he made the vote buying public when he forgave at least 200 million euros in fines, just two days before the elections ," said Berisha.

According to him, over 10,000 jobs in local and central administration were filled for electoral purposes, while on the ground, structured criminal gangs operated in 10 regions and more than 20 municipalities, whose task was to guarantee the victory of Socialist Party candidates.

Berisha also mentioned the name of Sara Mila, the SP candidate, whom he called "the star of this campaign," ironizing the high number of votes she received: " An unknown who reaches 30 thousand preferential votes in a country where vote buying is standard, is a global joke for democracy."

According to Berisha, these elections were not free and fair, but a well-organized criminal operation to distort the will of citizens.
