"Electronic Shkodra" takes to the Eurovision 2025 stage tonight

Tonight in Basel, Switzerland, the first semi-final night of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, one of the most watched music events in the world, begins. Albania is represented this year by the group "Shkodra Elektronike" with the song "Zjerm", a creation that combines the tradition of Shkodra folklore with the currents of modern electronic music.

According to the rankings announced on March 27, the Albanian representatives will take the stage 12th, among the 15 countries competing tonight for a place in the grand final.

Beatriçe Gjergji and Kolë Laca, the two artists behind “Shkodra Elektronike”, have brought a unique style that has attracted the attention of the international public. After winning the RTSH Song Festival, “Zjerm” has become an online sensation, accumulating hundreds of thousands of views and positive comments on YouTube.

Expectations for Albania are high, with many Eurovision fans and analysts considering "Zjerm" as one of the most original and artistically daring entries of this edition.

The grand final of "Eurovision 2025" will be held on May 17, where only 10 countries will secure a place as of tonight. Albanian fans around the world are invited to support our representatives in this prestigious competition.
