Elections 2025/ Less than 100 boxes to be counted, here's how the votes are

The vote counting process from Sunday's elections is nearing completion, with 5,132 out of 5,225 ballot boxes counted nationwide. The count is still ongoing in 6 districts, while it has been completely closed in the other 6 districts.

According to preliminary data published, the Socialist Party of Albania emerged as the winning force with a clear majority, collecting 751,080 votes, which constitutes 52.2% of the total. This result ranks the Socialist Party as the first political force on a national scale.

In second place is the Democratic Party – Alliance for a Greater Albania (DP-ASHM) coalition, with 491,062 votes or 34.1% of the valid votes. Meanwhile, in third place is the Albania Initiative (NISMA-SHB) coalition with 53,478 votes (3.7%).

The other participating parties have obtained these results:

Social Democratic Party (PSD) – 47,513 votes – 3.3%
Opportunity Party – 43,789 votes – 3.0%
Joint Movement – ​​21,114 votes – 1.5%
Euro-Atlantic Coalition (KEA) – 19,225 votes – 1.3%
Right Coalition for Development (DZH) – 5,562 votes – 0.4%
Albanian National Alliance (AKSH) – 3,017 votes – 0.2%
Homeland Movement (LA) – 2,112 votes – 0.1%
New Democracy Alliance (ADR) – 1,058 votes – 0.1%
