37-year-old arrested in Lushnje, self-inflicted gunshot wound, but stated

A 37-year-old man has been arrested in Lushnje, after allegedly shooting himself with a firearm, but he reported the incident differently at the hospital.

To prevent the truth from being revealed, the arrested person stated in the hospital that he was accidentally injured with a cutting tool. Currently, this citizen is under the care of doctors and is out of danger for his life.

His brother and friend were also arrested.

"He declared at the hospital that he had been accidentally injured with a cutting tool, while he had injured himself with the firearm he was carrying without a permit, the 37-year-old is arrested."

Also in custody are his brother and friend, after they hid the vehicle in which the 37-year-old allegedly accidentally shot himself.

After the Lushnja hospital reported that a citizen with an injured leg had gone to seek treatment, the Lushnja Police Commissariat launched an investigation and, as a result, clarified the circumstances of the case. At the end of the investigation, the injured citizen, AM, 37 years old, as well as his brother, citizen IM, 33 years old, and his friend, citizen FV, 40 years old, were arrested.

From the investigations so far, it is suspected that the 37-year-old accidentally injured himself in a vehicle with a firearm, which he possessed without a permit. In order to prevent the truth from being revealed, this citizen has stated in the hospital that he was accidentally injured with a cutting tool. Currently, this citizen is under the care of doctors and is out of danger for his life.

The other 2 citizens were arrested for allegedly hiding the vehicle where citizen AM committed suicide, as well as supporting his false statement.

During the search of the vehicle found by the Police, 2 cartridges and 1 firearm shell were found and seized.

"Under the direction of the Fier Prosecutor's Office, work is being done to document with legal evidence all the circumstances of this case ," the police announced.
