Call Center raided in Tirana/One of the organizers and 6 employees in handcuffs

Police have discovered a call center that was set up to commit computer fraud through a fake online investment platform.

During the operation, one of the organizers of this fraud scheme, Agim Shehu, 36 years old, resident of Tirana, was arrested. His two associates, AR, 34 years old and AG, 38 years old, have been declared wanted.

Six more employees were also arrested, namely: Indrit Kaziu, Lution Veseli, Elvis Hadaj, Maer Musabelliu, Dardan Rama and Aldo Pleshti, while four other employees were placed under investigation: AP, 40 years old, VA, 38 years old, KA, 24 years old and SM, 38 years old.

"Within the framework of the "Recovery" operation and as a result of the checks carried out following the international "Platform" operation, the Police services established that the first floor of a building on "Janos Hunyadi" Street had been adapted as a call center.

As a result of the intervention in this subject, the employees, citizens IK, 33 years old, resident of Farka, LV, 22 years old, resident of Kruja, EH, 38 years old, resident of Tirana, MM, 33 years old, resident of Tirana, DR, 34 years old, resident of Tirana and AP, 36 years old, resident of Tirana, were caught red-handed and put in handcuffs.

Also, the employees, citizens AP, 40 years old, VA, 38 years old, KA, 24 years old, and SM, 38 years old, all residents of Tirana, were caught red-handed, and proceedings were initiated against them while they were at large.

As a result of the investigations conducted within the framework of this operation, the 3 organizers of the computer fraud, through this call center, were identified: citizens A. Sh., 36 years old, resident of Tirana, AR, 34 years old, and AG, 38 years old.

Citizen A. Sh. was arrested by the Police and put in handcuffs, as part of the "Recovery" operation. Meanwhile, work continues to arrest 2 other citizens," the police announced.

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
